Guest Rooms
Breezes Runaway Bay features 234 bedrooms divided into 3 wings of two-story buildings. And a new building with addtional rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned with private balconies overlooking lush gardens or the pool. Some rooms also have private splash pools. The rooms have all been reworked durin the renovation with new furniture, better safes and flat screen TV's.

Superior/Deluxe/Premium/Luxury Room
These rooms are basically identical; the only real difference is the location and the views.

Ocean view Suite - 4 suites
There are four suites with a separate living area and bedroom, with up scale furnishings and refrigerator.

Pool view Suite - 4 suites

All rooms contain either a king size bed or two double beds, which are suprisingly comfortable! Also included is a color TV set, with access to a limited number of satellite channels, coffee maker, compact disk player, clock radio, in-room safe, and a direct dial telephone.

The marble tiled bathroom has an oversized vanity with mirror, hair dryer, and a combination tub/shower. The shower had plenty of water pressure, some people complain about the supplied hair driers.

TIP: If you have long hair, you should bring your own. The electricity is 50 Hz, so your dryer will not be as powerful as it is at home.

Each room has a view of the pool or the gardens with sliding glass doors that open out on to a patio or balcony. Light blocking drapes are provided for sleeping in late.

TIP: If you like a dark room, bring along a few binder clips to close the gap between the curtains. The sun rises early in Jamaica, and you normally won't get to sleep before the wee hours.

Room Locations:
The rooms are divided into three wings.

East and West Wings

West Wing:
The west wing is closest to the pool, and the au-natural beach. Even numbered rooms face the pool, and odd numbered rooms are "garden view" facing the edge of the property. Higher room numbers are closer to the beach. The pool side rooms are noisy at night from the dining room stage which goes on until 11:00 at night.

East Wing:
The east wing is closest to the main bar, and the disco. Even numbered rooms face the pool, and odd numbered rooms are "garden view" facing the garden area between this wing and the new wing. Room 2100 is nearest the disco.


East and West Wings

New Wing: The new wing isn't really new, but was the last addition to the resort before the renovation. All of these rooms are garden-view; the odd numbered rooms face the east courtyard and wedding gazebo, the even numbered rooms face the property's edge. Being the farthest from the main pool and other areas, these are the quietest rooms available. At the end of this wing are the four ocean view suites. These rooms are the closest to the Reggae Cafe and nearby pool.

New Building This is a new building that overlooks the west end of the resort. All rooms are Ocean Front, and these are now the nicest rooms at the resort.
