Breezes Beach
What's paradise without a perfect beach. Breezes Runaway Bay is located on Jamaica's famous "North Beach." Plenty of relaxing lounge chairs and hammocks are provided for that perfect day on the white sand beach. In the afternoon the wind can come up, they don't call it "Breezes" for nothing, and most people head towards the wind sheltered pools.

Breezes owns the property to the high waterline, and does a good job of keeping the locals out of the resort. However, the ocean is open to the public. You will run across creative entrepreneurs who wade down from the public beach. Generally they are friendly, and we did not feel hassled or threatened by them, although we heard that they be more irritating at night. As long as they stay below the high water line there is little breezes can do, but they always have security people on the beach.
